Which of these DSST exams generally can be passed with just 1 week of study
#11
I ranked it on how easy they were for me, easiest on top. With that said, the 2-3 days was mostly the time it took me to run through the Wise Owl study guides (base library) to get the basic terms and ideas set in my mind before sitting the test. Honestly, the only ones on your list that I'm expecting to take over a week for studying in my own plans is the Rise/Fall USSR, Civil War & Reconstruction, & Astronomy. Those are 2-weeks for history and a month for Astronomy.

It depends how well-versed you already are in a subject, but I found the Environment and Humanity one pretty darn simple. Most of it was stuff I already knew.

I thought Prin of Management and Marketing were easy, I studied for each one for about 2 hours. But I have a certificate in Management (took 5 management courses 10+ years ago). I would take all of the Business exams together (and study together), there is a ton of overlap.

I definitely would not divide it up by CLEP vs. DSST, but rather group everything together that would be easy to study for together.

I've taken these DSSTs:
Intro to Computing
Technical Writing
Civil War & Reconstruction
Rise & Fall of the Soviet Union

The first 3 can definitely be passed with a week of study; in fact, I did the first 2 in under a week each. Civil War isn't too hard and can be done in a week. But Soviet Union would need at least 2 weeks IMO, mostly because you'd need to read some books for it (while flashcards and online study guides are sufficient for the others). I posted feedback for those tests and more in my thread here.

Of the DSSTs we've taken:

Intro to Computing is pretty simple, especially if you are somewhat tech-savvy already. IC flashcards are great too.

Technical Writing also seemed very straightforward - definitely could do that in a week.

Hope that helps!
