Hi everyone, i am curious... if i am locked into the 2018 catalog now with the BSBA in CIS... if i changed my concentration to a BSBA in HR... would that mess things up and cause me to have to take that new information literacy class tesu is requiring? or would i be OK since I am still on the old catalog?
i have finished almost all the core business requirements (just have macro, micro and intro to finance left) so i still have time to change my concentration. unless tesu tells me to go jump in the lake for wasting their advisors' time changing my degree plan (can they do that??) LOL.

Unless there is something going on with your particular situation, you can change your AoS at any time. You don't need approval unless you're trying to do something weird.
Also keep in mind that instead of replacing your current AoS, you can always just add HR as a second AoS. I came very close to doing that myself with CIS and HR. If you'd like to complete both, its just 6 more courses (18cr with at least 12cr at 300-400 level) in the second AoS.
To change your AoS, or add a second one, all you need to do is send an email or open a ticket with advising. Just be specific so they know exactly what you want them to do.

The courses you listed should be fine but advising can confirm it for you and pre-plan it into your degree. I don't know what the healthcare class comes in as (they will tell you) but I had Employment Law approved for my HR AoS. Negotiation was one of my backups. There is also an UL Union/Labor Relations course and Leading Organizational Change.
