completing general Ed classes
#1
Hi,

I am currenlty enrolled in the RN-BSN program at TESU. I am trying to complete my general Ed courses over then next 12 weeks or so weeks. I work full time that means over 40 hours a week. I am looking for the easiest route to complete my courses. Below are the courses I still need to complete:

Oral communication

Statistics

Civic Engagment

Thank you

Straighterline might be the fastest and cheapest:
- Intro to Communication
- Business Statistics
- American Government

These are also available through Study.com, although I've heard that TESU isn't accepting their speech courses for some reason.

They are also available through testing out:
Principles of Public Speaking DSST
Statistics DSST
American Government CLEP (and if you use Modern States to study for it, you can get it for free)

Probably some additional ways, but these are the most popular. If you use Study.com, ask for the Study.com affiliate membership pricing to be added to your TESU enrollment. If you use SL, make sure you search for coupons here and online.

I agree going with the StraighterLine option would be the easiest as well... cheap/easy/fast for all three courses. Please review the SL coupon thread and get as many coupons used at once. For example, buy a membership and one course with a coupon, then buy another course with a coupon and finally buy your third course with another coupon.

Straighterline might be the fastest and cheapest:
- Intro to Communication - This has 3 video presentations, introduction isn't graded, the other two are
- Business Statistics - Don't choose the Intro to Statistics, it's a harder course overall
- American Government - For SL courses, skip everything, just focus on exams/midterms/graded work and final
