I would appreciate if someone can help regarding College composition modular exam. I gave College composition but did not clear. I want to pass college composition Modular without essay. Can someone help me what to study and what are the books that I should consult. I studied from Rea's college composition book. The composition exam was tough though and i was out of time. i was able to complete but did not clear, failed with a score of 46. Any help would be great.

Try taking some practice tests to help judge if you are prepared enough or not. The REA practice tests are usually good, and the Peterson's site had some very accurate PTs that I used when I was preparing for College Comp. If you, a family member, or an extended family member (i.e. uncle, grandparent, etc.) is/was a military member, you can get free practice tests from this site ---> CLEP Prep Although there are a few differences, College Comp. and College Comp. Modular will be pretty similar, so having taken one already will definitely help you to be more prepared for Modular. When I took College Comp., I used The Princeton Review's Cracking the CLEP book, which was awesome, and the PTs I linked above. Good luck! Smile

Have you tried this site yet? English Composition CLEP Free Study Guide - Free-Clep-Prep.com It's from Free Clep Prep. It is for the old English CLEP test, but it has a lot of resources to study with for working on the grammar and mechanics. I personally didn't use it, but it looks good.
The Peterson's practice tests were very accurate for what was on the actual test (I took College Composition.), as was the Official CLEP Study Guide. Definitely check out the Princeton Review's Cracking the CLEP. Although I did not use that one, when I took my ACT, I used the Cracking the ACT book, and still remember much of what I learned from that. Princeton Review does a great job of preparing you for an exam.
