The last CLEP test that I took was received by TESC in 16 days.

CLEP does know what they are talking about. They will always provide you with the "standard answer" - 10-15 business days. The transcript request form actually states to allow two business days for processing and a week to 10 days for mailing. Official scores and transcript requests are very similar in how they are processed.
For all of you CLEP testers, CLEP prints the official scores every night. There is no firm answer on how long it takes to get humans to process pieces of paper into first-class mail. I would guess it can take a couple of days. From there it is in the USPS' hands. You should also know that CLEP is located in New Jersey. Of course this is the same state where TESC is located, so mail time should be shorter. I remind candidates to check with their registrar's office to see how long it typically takes for credits to actually be applied to their record. As you can imagin, this can vary by college/university. |
