I think the double major sounds more logical. I believe another member on this board is doing a double major in psych and CJ too.

OK....so now I'm even more confused.
I emailed them and they said that I could do the 2nd area of study in the one degree (but they dont do double majors?!)
They also said I could stay under the same catalog as the first one I was working under, I just have to email advising and ask them to put the CJ on there.
I applied and was accepted last June. When I go into Online Student Services and I click on my transcript eval it says Program: BA in Psychology Catalog: 2015.
When I go try to find the "2015" version of the CJ requirements (I found a 2015-2016 catalog) they are very different than what is posted on the Degree Wiki. So now I'm not sure where I should be looking for the requirements that I would be under if I do add the CJ to the degree.
I found a 2014-2015 Catalog but all it says is:
"Required Courses: Introduction to Criminal Justice, Research
Methods in the Social Sciences, Terrorism, Criminal Behavior,
Criminal Law, Public Policy and Criminal Justice, a multicultural
course; and 18 credits of electives in criminal justice at the 300-
400 level; Liberal Arts Capstone"
and I'm not sure if that matches our degree wiki page...?
Does someone know where I should be looking? and what year of catalog I should be looking under? I think the fact that there is a 2014-2015 and a 2015-2016 catalog and I'm supposedly in the "2015 catalog" is throwing me off.

They call a double major a double area of study. What's on the wiki are the requirements prior to July 1, 2015. In other words, it's not for the 2015-2016 catalog.

The Wiki says it's for prior to July 2015.

I'm sorry, I'm sure this is probably really simple but, after emailing them four times and then calling, I'm beginning to wonder if I even speak English. lol

It's prior July 2015. The 2015-2016 catalog started on July 1, 2015. Therefore, the wiki plan is not for the 2015-2016 catalog.

I'm currently enrolled in the BA CJ degree under the 2015 catalog. The wiki page is up to date for the 2015 catalog. Terrorism is not a required course, it is an elective. I added psych as a second area of study. Both areas of study have to be completed before graduating. When I spoke with an academic advisor over the phone (phone appointment, not the express line) I was told that for a second area of study you have to do a 2nd capstone. Each capstone is specific to the area of study. I'm still planning my degree but I plan on sending an e-mail to academic advising about the capstone requirement to confirm. I have been told wrong information over the phone before even during advisement appointments.

I don't know why the 2014-2015 catalog says something different. I don't even know what a 2015 catalog is. 2014-2015 and 2015-2016 both have 2015. To eliminate confusion, they should just call it what it is, which is 2014-2015 or 2015-2016. Anyway, all I know is that my plan is up to date up to the 2014-2015 catalog.

TESC refers to the 2014-2015 catalog as 2015. The 2015-2016 catalog is referred to as 2016. I guess TESC thougt it would make things easier.
