My experience with free practice test questions is that they generally aren't very good. It takes a lot of effort to write good questions. Those who sells exam preparation materials have a financial incentive to do a good job. You get what you pay for.

I'm taking it this Friday. I got a 74% raw score on the practice test in the 2011 CLEP study guide. If you're taking more than one test, I recommend getting a copy. It's the best way to get an idea of what the real exam will be like.

This is the only test I need to take, so I was trying to avoid buying the book. I have already taken and passed two DSST tests using IC only, so hopefully this will be the same.

I took Humanities today got a 69. very happy with it. The exam had 140 questions. I used Ic along with the excel sheets other students posted. I also looked at the clep official study guide just before the test. Exam hard I guessed a lot . excel sheets very helpful. good luck on your test
