Are you saying ACE will ensure all credits(even old expired ones or from organizations that no longer participate in ACE) will have an Acclaim Badge in due time?

Since ACE has been around for some time now, and a place like TESU has been a member for 47 years now, my guess is whatever their process for providing some type of transcript for older classes outside of current certification would still happen. Meaning if the classes are still certified by ACE, they would still honor that and facilitate the transcripts for it.  I say this based on the following:

IF they didn't honor the accreditation, it would take legitimacy away from them as an accreditation organization, especially given their history with this.

With ACE also removing the wording about no longer sending transcripts after the end of November also indicates they are still working on things...

Providers are still working on getting tied into acclaim as evidence of the dialog with the sophia support folks.

Based on that, it seems pretty clear to me that ACE knows the cutover hasn't been clean so any move to only digital transcripts is being delayed until they fix these things.

One of my courses offers a badge now but the others don't yet!

If it works any other way, it would invalidate the whole purpose for the existence of ACE, and go against their mission.

"ACE delivers member value through high-quality professional learning programs that leverage a suite of blended solutions aimed at transforming institutions and diversifying the talent pipeline. ACE also offers services that demonstrate its commitment to postsecondary access and success, including the evaluation of corporate and military training experiences to ensure that all quality learning is connected and counted. Cutting-edge research and member insights on key higher education issues inform these offerings and help mobilize the community to enhance institutional performance."

The move to Acclaim to handle the digital credit certification does not change that.  These colleges and universities choose to be ACE members, and likely knew this was coming and were promoting this to reduce the amount of paperwork and manual work involved in handling credit transfers.

That doesn't mean it will be easy, and that doesn't mean it will be perfect out of the way, but when you're innovating and transforming a very established and entrenched process, it will be a little bumpy for a small number of weeks.

Sounds great! Yet there's not a single class I've completed in my Acclaim account. No one knows anything. Nothing is stated on the ACE website about what students need to do. There's absolutely no information on the Acclaim website either.

Does anyone know if Saylor.org plans to implement Acclaim for their courses? I've reached out maybe a week ago but still haven't received a reply from them.

Still nothing from Sophia in my Acclaim account. This transition is working out swimmingly!

Sophia dragging their feet.

Live chat says "we're having issues no updates yet from IT".

Right now Sophia is only doing acclaim badges for courses passed after the 4th. All older classes still get processed via the old method. Nothing has changed for those courses yet and ACE is still sending transcripts.

I was able to add a Sophia Ethics to I passed 4 Nov, to my ACE account.

Has not shown up on Acclaim.
