You don't have to have the current edition; I bought an older version on eBay for just a few dollars and it worked fine. I can't speak for the English SL class, but for their courses that I've taken, many test answers come straight out of the book. Lol.. I know that wasn't what you asked, but I wanted to mention it just in case! Thanks for that tip! Do you know if I can do both accounting I & II within a month's time? English Comp? Yes, but it will depend on your aptitude, interest, and commitment. I absolutely hate accounting and would go back and forth between wanting to hurry and get it over with and not wanting to do it. In fact, the reason I got a C+ on my accounting II was because I hated it so badly that I rushed through because I knew it would be the last accounting class I'd ever have to take. So.. the answer is yes, you can do it in a month, but with SL, you have to put in hours and hours, so make sure you pick a month with plenty of free time. My guess is that someone with prior accounting knowledge or interest in the subject would be able to get through it pretty easily, but if this is your first experience with it, you'll take much longer. Either way, you can still get them done in a month. English Comp? Our disdain of the subject is mutual.:imwithstupid: I got a 78% because I was ready to end the course. This has to be the most boring and annoying subject in the world.:puke: Ughh English Comp? I seriously had decided that I would never do taxes again in protest of my hatred for accounting. I also decided to end any friendships with my finance/accounting co-workers. Ha ha... obviously this didn't happen and I came to my senses after I hit submit on the last final exam, but seriously my brain is just not wired to understand this stuff. I really do have a new respect for accounting majors. (and yes, I can be friends with them now) hilarious English Comp? I didn't read it - I watched the movie from the 90's and then searched the web for a overview of the novel afterwards. The movie is not like the novel, there are some things that are completely off but it made it easier for me. Spark notes is a great resource. English Comp? Did them both in eight week classes inseat, all day saturdays. I actually meet with accounting students from my class one to two night a week, just to get through the class. banghead It almost killed me. I did get a A, and I ran into my instructor and thanked him for my A, and he said oh you earned those A's. :willynilly: Some people are just born to do it, others are not. I was not born to do it. All I can say is if someone like me can do finance and accounting, it is possible for anyone! I will say that I have already used my accounting. I was at a busy conference a few weeks ago and when break time hit, the elevators were full of people trying to get back to their hotel rooms. Someone made a joke and said "Is this elevator LIFO or FIFO?" I was so proud of myself for actually understanding the joke. English Comp?
