I'll just shake my head and grin--incredible job. I'd say inspiring, but I think I'll just sit on the side lines and cheer :hurray: I'm done! (part deux) - ryoder - 10-25-2011 Thanks guys! Yeah its 3 this year. I officially started CLEPping back in Oct 2010 but my direction was to finish a bachelors in general studies with a concentration in IT at USF. So I took a few CLEPs to backfill up to the 120-24=96 credit mark and intended to take the required 24 CR of IT courses to get the degree. Right about the time I finished all of my CLEPs which included a bunch of the business core I found this site. I realized that I could finish a BALS by EOY or a BSBA CIS by February so I went for the BSBA CIS and was done with coursework in late February. So I started looking for an MBA and waited patiently for my conferral in June. I found NCU and decided to take 2 courses non-degree seeking prior to conferral back in mid March. I finished my 1st of 10 courses in 23 days and the second in 21 days. I was on a roll. Then I was stuck. I had to wait until those courses naturally terminated before enrolling in another course. So I sat on the sidelines for an excruciating 6 weeks and with nothing better to do, I decided to start taking StraighterLine A&P and CLEP BIO to complete the second degree. I finished all of my test out classes a couple of months ago and continued taking my MBA courses and TESC Environmental Science and Computer Architecture concurrently. I just finished those two courses at TESC, hence my "I'm done" post. In the meantime, since about July 1 I have completed another 6 MBA courses so at this point I am done with: - Foundations of Graduate Study for Business - Comprehensive Strategic Knowledge Studies - Business Ethics - History of Management Thought - Human Resources Management - C# Programming - C++ Programming - Business Statistics And I am now enrolled in - Computer Graphics - 70% complete - MBA Applied Computer Science Research Project - 30% complete I'm done! (part deux) - nflight - 10-25-2011 Yay!!! Yaaaaay!! How awesome it that?! I'm happy for you. :hurray: What will you do when you can test no more? I'm done! (part deux) - ryoder - 10-26-2011 nflight - Alas my last test was months ago The last test was BIO and DSST Env and Humanity. After that I had to take 9 CR at TESC and I am continuing to pursue this MBA at Northcentral University | Online Degree Programs | Online Learning. The thing about NCU is that it fits us, the test crowd, well because it is at your own pace. If you have a whole day to spend on the course you can finish a whole week worth of work. So in a weekend you can finish two weeks more or less. I get up early in the morning and work on papers, read materials etc so I end up finishing 2-3 weeks of work per week and since the classes are 8 weeks max length I can typically finish a class in 3 weeks. The computer classes go even faster since I am an expert in the field. HR management was the worst. I spent a LOT of time reading the 1k page book, researching and writing and struggled for my A. I'm done! (part deux) - nflight - 10-26-2011 ryoder Wrote:nflight - Alas my last test was months ago Yes, but if it's YOUR A, then do what you must- as I am most certain you did. :-) I'm done! (part deux) - jmichelle79 - 10-29-2011 Congrats!!!!! |
