CLEP Management, got a 49 on it. I have learned my lesson from that one.

Hardest to study for was Biology but wasn't horrible during the exam. Passed with a 65.
Hardest to actually take would of been Macroeconomics. Failed with a 48
But traditionally, the hardest one is the one that's next up.

Publius...I have been trying to get ahold of you! Thanks for the message regarding accounting and TESC. I am still going to pursue it but I have ton of questions for you since you are ahead of me! First which state are you in? Do you plan to sit for the CPA in the future? And would you mind sharing with me which Accounting classes your taking with TESC, Which ones your doing Clep, SL...etc ?? Your Tesc Plan? Thanks for any feedback....Currently working on my ALEKS...

I took about 30 CLEP/DSSTs and a few ECEs thrown in. Without question, by far the most difficult test for me was Money and Banking. I like an exam where I can study for x hours, sit down, and take the test. While the Humanities CLEP and the Business Law II DSST were difficult, sure, a certain number of study hours would get you to a point where you could master the exam.
Money and Banking it wouldn't have mattered if I'd spent five hours or fifty. It was just going to be miserable.

My hardest was the subject of Financial Accounting. After studying a VERY long time for the Fin. Accounting CLEP, I finally got tired, and went to test, apparently too early; I scored a 45!!!! ;( After this nightmare, I studied for its equivalent, Principle of Fin. Accounting DSST. I studied for what I remembered missing on the CLEP, the math stuff, so I wasn't as prepared for the vocabulary and terms. Of course, when I took the test, I soon found that the DSST had the OPPOSITE of the CLEP, more vacab./terms, and less math!
I scored a 46. I was JUST on the DSST passing score line. Came out of that one like a fish who's been out of the water for a 1/2 hr., and is suddenly thrown back in. Shockingly, I was still barely alive! GASP!
I also had trouble with Principles of Finance DSST, but I made sure that I was prepared for that one, and passed with a 55.
Oh well, it makes me feel better that someone had trouble with An. & Int. Literature, my first CLEP, wherein I scored a 57, and Management CLEP, which was pleasant studying for me. (if there is such a thing! (: ).

Money and Banking. This one was harder than Principles of Finance, Financial Accounting, American Government, and Biology for me. So yeah, I rank it as my #1 most difficult test.

Whoa! Wait, I'm working on Money & Banking right now, and I was thinking it more enjoyable to study for than Principles of Fin., mostly because it's all just new info./concepts/vocabulary, and very little on the math and formulas, and accounts side of things. What did you find more difficult with M&B, degree4hbia ?

College Algebra CLEP. I passed the exam, but it was far harder than the College Board's study guide indicated.

Money and Banking. Didn't even come close to passing. Of the 22 CLEPS DSSTs and ECEs, Money and Banking was the hardest DSST and Research Methods was the hardest ECE exam ever. I failed that one, as well.
