Help a Poor Newb? - BGSU_Alum_86 - 06-03-2013 Please make sure that you are taking College Composition, NOT College Composition Modular as Armyb77 suggested, as it is the College Composition exam that has the mandatory essays built into the exam. The modular exam only delivers multiple-choice questions. There are optional essays (which would be handwritten and not calculated in the score). I have yet to come across any school that gives credit for modular with the optional essays; usually the school with say college composition without essays and mean the college composition modular. This can be confusing, but I always suggest that candidates verify the exact name of the exam with their school. You do not want to waste the time and money only to end up taking the wrong exam!
