I am working through some of the chapters before I start the final project. I have a few ideas but I have to present them using techniques described in the text. I will just be glad to finish this last business course so I can focus on the computer courses I have remaining.

Recently, and of course I can't find it, someone posted the manner s/he used to write papers. It was for a masters program, I thought. It went something like s/he would put the points that were supposed to be answered in her/his paper. They would be separated, and the s/he would answer/address that point. It seemed to be the cleanest way to show the grader that the points had been addressed. (I'm not sure s/he kept the points printed up in the final draft.) I think that I might approach it that way so that I address everyting that they want addressed, and don't go floundering around.

I've signed up for the webinar, but I'm not in love with the start time.

It was dmjacobsen in post #3 WGU MBA-HM first impressions and comments I believe. I am using my phone so I can cut and paste the link.

Thanks. That should focus my writing. It's easy for me to wander, so I'd like to make it as easy for the reader/grader as possible.

Well, I think I've finished my exams. There appears to be one after the project, but I have an e-mail into the instructor for clarification. It will be interesting to see how responsive s/he is. (Haven't heard back from PF regarding a question on the webinar; I'll just give it a try.) The postings are done. Just the webinars and the project. Hmm. Let's see how overwhelming I can make these things (particularly the project) in my mind so that I become a victim of analysis paralysis, or perfectionism, or lazyness, or whatever it is that causes me to come to a complete standstill right before I finish something!

Whatever you do, don't copy and paste the exam questions into google search!

Harpda,

That wasn't even a consideration. I'll use the Internet (I'm a Yahoo fan) to update data, but that's about it. If you saw the questions, and the case study, it doesn't even seem worth doing anything but writing it yourself.

Can someone who took this class give some insight on what is expected from the discussion postings. The reply allots a maximum of 5000 characters, which seems like a lot considering the questions are not too in depth. I am assuming a full-fledged paper in not needed to receive a good grade. With that being said, how much contribution or how many characters did you put towards the discussion posting and what grades did you receive?

Thanks!

Discussions posts are usually about 5-7 sentences. No need to get too involved

You could probably type up your dinner menu, and get a pass. I think anything is an automatic pass.
