Important!! Excelsior Policy Changes Effective January 1, 2008 L@@k! - Icanstudy - 12-14-2007 You mentioned the English Exam goes away in 2008, what about the WER requirement? Thank you, Icanstudy Important!! Excelsior Policy Changes Effective January 1, 2008 L@@k! - cederic824 - 12-14-2007 The "College Writing" exam will no longer be available after Dec 31, 2007. The 6 credit hour "English Comp" exam will remain, as will the ever popular WER. Important!! Excelsior Policy Changes Effective January 1, 2008 L@@k! - chromo - 12-17-2007 I e-mailed my advisor over the weekend, requesting to have 2 Ds from 2001 removed from my transcript. I got a response saying it was done at 10:09am Monday morning. That was easy! I'm not looking forward to the extra work but my GPA just went from 3.20 to 3.56 overnight. Now I should have no trouble graduating with honors (which was formerly impossible). Important!! Excelsior Policy Changes Effective January 1, 2008 L@@k! - rcl252 - 01-26-2008 When I stopped going to college 10 years ago I never dropped my classes and received f's. Im wondering if the failed classes would reflect on my excelsior transcript and effect my gpa. Ive retaken most of them but I dont really need the remaining calculas and chemistry classes so if I can avoid taken them i would rather do so. Important!! It is my understanding that they will not post any grades to your transcript that cannot be applied for your degree. ie; D's and F's. They didn't list any of my Fs on my transcript. If in doubt ask your advisor. If you're not enrolled, call them and they are glad to assist. Hope this helps. |
