Python is actually not that great a language, it's slow and clunky. I actually prefer C or Java. Of I had to choose a scripting language I would choose Ruby.
Actually I know a lot of people who don't like python. People who dont know much about hardware stuff tend to prefer Python.
And great the ONLY programming course I cant do comes in as intro to programming. Strange cause TESU's course is on Java not Python. I wonder is SDC Java would fulfil that requirement?

I would recommend Study.com for the 2 communication courses (oral and business). The course that covers the Oral Communications requirement can be done very quickly and doesn't require you to do a speech at all (Communications 120: Presentation Skills in the Workplace - I believe this is the one), and the Business communications course was straightforward (Business 113: Business Communication - this is the one I took, so I know it is the correct name)

If the OD programming course (Python?) came in as COS-111, then it would fulfill the specific Introduction to Programming course requirement, which would be awesome. Most of the other ones have just counted as a CS elective. Where in your academic eval did they put it exactly?
I haven't take it yet, I just emailed to find out if it'd work. Here's what they sent me:
"I have removed the previously approved Straighterline course and replaced it with Computer Science – Introduction to Programming from OnlineDegrees.com. The latter will transfer and apply to the Programming requirement in the area of study as COS-111."
This is for the BSBA CIS, not the BACS program.

Thanks for the reply. This is exactly what I was thinking. $200 for my last 2 courses, they should be fairly quick, and I'm already familiar with study.com.

Which Statistics course did you take through ALEKS (I'm seeing Introduction to Statistics, Business Statistics, and Statistics for Behavioral Science)? I'm trying to figure out how to do that and it looks like it's just a $20/month subscription, so that would be a lot cheaper than SL.
It really doesn't matter which one you take, as they all come into TESU as STA-201. I took Introduction to Statistics since that was slightly shorter than the other two.

If that course actually does come in as COS-111 (Introduction to Programming), that will be hugely helpful for folks taking the BACS! It is interesting that they will allow it to also fulfill a standalone programming language requirement, but that's cool too.
As for the two comm courses, you can fulfill those requirements via several providers, but I found them to be pretty straightforward via Study.com. The Business Communications course is annoying in that I believe it had 3 written assignments, but it wasn't that challenging, just time-consuming.

The weird thing to me is WHY would they do that restriction? There doesn't seem to be anything about their platform that would restrict it to the US, other than that they put the restriction there. Maybe there is a reason, as I'm no expert, it just seems weird.

Same thing with WGU, its discrimination. That is all it is, saying they don't discriminate against national origin and yet they are! This is discrimination against me based on national origin. There is no valid technical reason I can't do courses there.

Maybe they want to monetize by sharing their users data with partnering universities, non-US users will not be as valuable
WGU restriction annoys me more because I'd like to start a master there after finishing my degree next year
