An example of one that is already recommended is BIO 106. Another example is ENG 305. Then, Last but not least - there's HIS 309 as well. That is correct those 3 courses are already, ACE recommended. I updated my spreadsheet. Normally courses will have a green circle symbol when they are recommended for college credit for either NCCRS or ACE. I did check NCCRS and didn't see any of those courses listed there. Also, I double-checked ACE which I didn't do the first time. I have a yearly plan with study.com so will have the option to take some extra courses if I want. Be interesting to see how this thread ages 1-6 months from now and what gets added to Study.com RE: Isn't it about time for new Study.com courses? - jsh1138 - 09-01-2020 Not saying it's the same every year but last September Study.com added classes on the 19th. So hopefully it won't be long RE: Isn't it about time for new Study.com courses? - Ideas - 09-02-2020 (08-31-2020, 06:43 PM)Cofffeee Wrote: Yes and maybe some extra UL math courses- would be great addition I would like Differential Equations. It would be less effort to edit course than create new one.also it will benefit a lot of us- many would go for cybersecurity degree if SDC could be transfered I would also like to see Cybersecurity courses that transfer. And American Literature II although Coopersmith has it. RE: Isn't it about time for new Study.com courses? - ss20ts - 09-02-2020 Does SDC announce when they have new classes? RE: Isn't it about time for new Study.com courses? - jsh1138 - 09-02-2020 I haven't ever really seen them do it. The classes are already on there, it's just a matter of when they're cleared for credit RE: Isn't it about time for new Study.com courses? - ss20ts - 09-02-2020 (09-02-2020, 11:25 AM)jsh1138 Wrote: I haven't ever really seen them do it. I was wondering because Sophia sent me an email when Business Law and Principles of Finance became available. I knew from this group that it they were live to us, but everyone isn't up to speed like people on here. Auditing, for example, had only a few lessons the last time I looked. RE: Isn't it about time for new Study.com courses? - bjcheung77 - 09-05-2020 I'm hoping to take a few more courses at Study.com, just because they're in subjects that interest me, not because of the college credit. Hopefully some of their courses get added in with an ACE recommendation soon. RE: Isn't it about time for new Study.com courses? - jsh1138 - 09-05-2020 Yeah same here. I would like to do them for credit though, just because you never know |
