RE: Easiest classes upper level - Sara143 - 04-15-2022

I talked with my adviser and she said I can do UMPI and sophia together . Thats why I wanted to start with easy and short classes. I am sorry if my question dont make sense.

Hey, I got your PM and responded to you. Anyways, you previously cancelled your first session as your advisor (and the members of this board) mentioned to you to complete most of your Sophia.org, InstantCertCredit, and Study.com before beginning UMPI. That's exactly what's confusing here, as we were thinking you would complete ALL your Sophia.org, InstantCertCredit beforehand.

It's easier if you do everything outside UMPI instead of alongside UMPI. The reason is simple, you're paying for the courses, complete one provider at a time... otherwise, you're paying two or three subscriptions to Sophia, ICC, Study.com in addition to paying the session for UMPI! Waste of $$$ paying for these sessions!

Follow through with my advice here... Don't start in May until you're ready, wait for the next session after *ALL YOUR ACE* credits are done! Did you invest in the second monitor? You can open Sophia.org, ICC, Study.com materials while doing the quizzes, for the final exam, you just remove the second monitor for ICC/Study.com

RE: Easiest classes upper level - Sara143 - 04-15-2022

I appreciate your reply. Yes I have second monitor.
I am confused about upper level and lower level credits.
Can I complete lower level credits at Sophia , study.com and other places and will do 30 upper level with UMPI?
The reason start with UMPI is my financial aid approved. Since , I lost my job and I had accident. So , I can get full aid at UMPI
But things will be change if I will delay classes at UMPI. I started working part time so it will affect my next year aid. I want to done by the end of this year.
I can afford Sophia . Study.com but not UMPI. I hope you understand my situation.

RE: Easiest classes upper level - bjcheung77 - 04-15-2022

No worries, basically, you can try to finish all your Sophia.org courses that you don't have in this time frame... a little less than a month, get as much as you can done with Sophia.org then work on UMPI. If you have any lower level courses left at UMPI to complete, such as English I & II, do those first.

I would work on the lower level courses as they should be easier than the Upper Level. You can "finish" off your Sophia.org courses while you work on the Lower Level ones at UMPI, you can keep adding extra courses to UMPI if you're done with the lower level ones... It's all planning/time management!

If you do complete the Sophia.org courses, see if you can start InstantCertCredit while working on the UMPI lower level courses.

We don't know what courses you've completed. You will need to check with your academic advisor or your degree audit.

I want to get my degree in BLS minor management. I need 24 credits from upper level courses. Any recommendations for easy courses. I prefer writing than quizzes.
Thanks

Most of the courses at UMPI have an essay as a final assessment, and most exams are slowly transitioning to essays. Your strengths should rate which courses are easy. The more you know about a specific topic, the 'easier' it would be to write 8-15 pages on. You'll need 30 UL credits (10 courses) at UMPI to qualify for degree completion.

Math, Finance & Data Analytics is 'easy' to me and would not be high on most lists. However, you have a lot of choices in a BLS degree, which is more flexible and shared by many as easier for completion.

Good luck.

Ask your academic advisor what courses are available and what the Final Assessment is. This is something you work on with them.

I'm looking for the opposite - upper level classes with no essays lol
