You can test out of almost everything. It depends on what degree program you are looing at...one of the Big 3 is the easier and cheapest way to get a regioanlly accredited degree...by a mile!

So, once I get a degree from a Big 3, there will be no reason to go to college, correct?

Unless you want to get a Masters degree. In which case you'll have to either go to a traditional b & m college or do it completely online.
However, for an undergraduate degree, starting from scratch, I do believe you'll have to take some classes for any degree. I don't know of anyone on this forum who 'starting from scratch', completely "tested out" of an undergrad degree.
If he/she/they do exist, I'd like to meet them so I know what degree he/she/they majored in and at what school.

So I can test out of most stuff, but will need to take classes to get a degreee, and I can get a higher degree at a college if I want to?

Tesc is one of the best of the "Top 3" for awarding testing credit. That is due in part to them awarding upper level credit for 200 or higher level exams. COSC only requires 15 or 18 upper level units, and they accept the clep english w/essay as does TESC along with Freshman Comp w/essay. EC does not accept any of these for their own WER, but you can take a Penn Foster College ENG100 class which will work with EC. EC also requires a graded research paper at least 8 pages long or LA 496 1 unit research paper class for some of their degree programs. COSC also will require a academic autobiography for their degree programs.

TESC would be a good choice with DSST exams since alot of the exams will translate over to Upper Level Credit at TESC .
Clep exams will not Get You Any UPPER LEVEL CREDIT, but the English Clep W/Essay or Freshman Comp W/Essay will satisfy the English Requirement at Tesc.
And the Clep exams are good for testing out of LOWER LEVEL GEN ED, due in part to some of them being 6 units of credit.

I'm sorry for asking more questions, I would just like to clarify.
I should take DSST tests for upper level credit, and take CLEP tests for lower level credit?
And TESC accepts both, and I can get a college degree that way?
