They have done that many times, and do have FAQ pages and student guidance/enrollment counselors. I never painted this as a “I’m a student and I am the only way information will get out about this college!”. Nor is this the founders intent. I had questions for the founder, he was willing to make the time to speak with me about those questions, and I was extending the ability for others to have questions asked on their behalf. The founders have done everything right, interacting with students in the past few months even, but a lot can happen in a few months!

Not sure where you got the idea that Ben Blair was relying on me to relay information to the masses, but it’s simply just not true. From what I understand, as previous posters have mentioned, Ben just seems excited to speak with anyone that is interested in participating in his vision, which I am.

So how did the meeting go?

I mentioned a while back that I learned they were discussing at NEWLANE a possible Master's in Philosophy and another in Humanities (or cognate areas as Great Books/Liberal Studies). Follow-up queries have gone unanswered. Any data on this?
I had the meeting this morning - I recorded the meeting and plan on transcribing it sometime tonight. I am going to post it in an interview format answering questions that I had and others did. Be on the lookout for that!

Here is a link to the article I wrote. If anyone has any other questions, I can look back at the transcript & see if he might have answered it.

Great read by the way Ritz, I started this program about 2 months ago on the side while completing my Project management degree, I am now about to crank up the speed with Newlane for their business admin degree and hopefully get it done by December :'). I work two jobs and I am getting a degree in my main gig which is construction/Project engineer. However, I decided to get another degree in the mix since I also work in the casinos at night. Newlanes cost and accredidation proved suffice for a regular working person like me to check mark a box for HR. The cost of being able to obtain a bachelors degree at such a low cost is really a good deal that most people should consider even if it is nationally accredited only.

Unfortunate if we have to wait a year or more to see any graduate offerings... but potentially very worth the wait if offered at the price points discussed.

1,500 for a BA
3,000 for an MA
4,500 for a doctorate?

$4,500 for a doctorate? That'd be on par with doing 2 semesters at UMPI at the graduate level. It would be an enticing offer
