DAVAR June - Unlimited exams $99 - eriehiker - 06-17-2017 I have been studying the PDF slideshows almost exclusively. I did not have any very good reason to take the stats exam. I'm going for a BSBA dual concentration in CIS and accounting. I am also going for 18 graduate credits in economics so that I can teach econ at the college level. My original undergrad. major was English/Education and my undergrad. minor was social sciences. So I am trying to pick up whatever math and science credits I can. I am up over 30 math credit hours at this point. I'm well over 100 credit hours since Feb./March of this year. Basically, if it's cheap and it moves and it's math, I'm taking it. I am interested in seeing what TESU does with some of these credits, so I sent a transcript a couple of days ago. In terms of the business classes, I just went up from the bottom in each category. The management exams are all very doable. I would also recommend the accounting exams just because those are pretty good credits to pick up. DAVAR June - Unlimited exams $99 - scoriae - 06-18-2017 Just finished Macroeconomics (ECO 302) Much like Microeconomics, I was a bit more prepared for this than the first exam in Management Information Systems. Unfortunately, there was one section of the notes I glossed over which didn't stick in my mind, and affected 6 multiple-choice questions that I pretty much guessed on. The essay questions were fairly detailed, referring to specific points within the PDF itself. There was no math required, and knowing the bolded definitions in the PDF definitely did help. For what little it is worth, I did dabble slightly in stocks and foreign exchange, so part of the content was rather familiar to me. However, I did not study more than 2 hours for this exam. I want to say I feel confident, but after missing out one section entirely via guessing, I am going to wait and see what Davar says... Edit: Davar says 91! Should I prepare something or will a topic be assigned? If assigned, will it be something awful like current events or something simple? How much time do I have to prepare? The speech is submitted separately. You email the video or a link to the video. Speech is a single 5-minute persuasive speech on any topic. Be sure to check the information in the study materials on how it will be graded to be sure you include everything required. I'd say if you write a 700 word persuasive essay with a good thesis in the first paragraph and and a clear call to action for the listener in the conclusion you will be good. Be sure to dress professionally and not to wave your hands around too much but do use your hands a little. I used a teleprompter app on the ipad to film it so I had good "eye contact" with the camera and I was able to get exact timing using the teleprompter time estimator to keep me on pace. DAVAR June - Unlimited exams $99 - sarg123 - 06-18-2017 Hi, I'm studying for International Management now, and I'm finding that the quizzes are not at all related to the slides. For those of you who took this test, do I have to study the quizzes, or the are slides enough? Thanks! DAVAR June - Unlimited exams $99 - Ideas - 06-18-2017 I took my second Davar exam. I skipped right to the essay questions, and this was probably a mistake for me. My mind sort of went blank, and I had no idea what to write for about 7 of the essay questions. However, I filled in more and more, and I feel I will get 4/4 on some essays, and 3/4 on a few. It is rare for me to have that happen on an exam, so I didn't panic. I am confident that got most of the multiple choice. I think that missing one or two items in a list isn't that bad, because you probably only lose 1 point out of 4 points most of the time. This was Principles of Sales, which has a paper, that I will do in July. I had a multiple choice question that wasn't in the powerpoint. I even skimmed the textbook, but didn't get this question right. I had it narrowed down to 2. DAVAR June - Unlimited exams $99 - eriehiker - 06-18-2017 The slides are enough. DAVAR June - Unlimited exams $99 - strawberryxfuzz - 06-19-2017 2am and I just finished American Government. Kind of worried because I feel like I really didn't do well on the essays. The PDF did well to cover the multiple choice questions but I got a lot of essays that asked for opinions on things that weren't really covered. I kind of just of guess my way through them... Definitely not feeling confident but here's hoping I scrapped by and somehow get a pass. Yea that was more difficult than I anticipated after skimming through the PDF slies and knowing a bit on the topic beforehand. I ended up with only a 62. |
