Speech is a single 5-minute persuasive speech on any topic. Be sure to check the information in the study materials on how it will be graded to be sure you include everything required. I'd say if you write a 700 word persuasive essay with a good thesis in the first paragraph and and a clear call to action for the listener in the conclusion you will be good. Be sure to dress professionally and not to wave your hands around too much but do use your hands a little. I used a teleprompter app on the ipad to film it so I had good "eye contact" with the camera and I was able to get exact timing using the teleprompter time estimator to keep me on pace. Does it have to be a video? I read through the course requirements, it just seemed like Audio.. I sent this ticket to TESU: Date Created: 6/15/2017 12:52 PM EDT Subject #: SubjectDavar Equivalencies Help Details (Please be specific) #: P:Ticket.FID95233.Label{Details_(Please_be_speci}]Greetings- I'm hoping to confirm equivalences for Davar Academy courses listed below; Davar MAR-330: Principles of Sales transferring to TESU as MAR-310: Principles of Sales. Davar MAN-330: International Management transferring to TESU as MAN-372: International Management. Davar FIN-310: Multinational Business Finance transferring to TESU as FIN-334: International Finance Davar ENGL-103: Information Literary transferring to TESU as ENGL-106: Information Literacy. Many thanks. Your time and help is appreciated. Response I received: We have solved your issue Hi ----, All of the TESU equivalencies you have indicated for the specified Davar Academy courses are accurate. Please note that the NCCRS review for all four of these courses began November 1, 2016, therefore the courses must have been completed since then in order for TESU to award credit. Please also note that these equivalencies are subject to change if an additional review or update of the recommended equivalency is completed by NCCRS. Please let me know if you have any additional questions or concerns. Thanks, Michael Sheridan DAVAR June - Unlimited exams $99 - dfrecore - 06-20-2017 nnahh Wrote:I sent this ticket to TESU: These were already known, and posted on their website. The only issue at this point is whether ENGL-106 will satisfy the Info Lit requirement at TESU. No word on that as of yet. DAVAR June - Unlimited exams $99 - scoriae - 06-20-2017 I just finished Introduction to Finance. This exam is very different in terms of content and structure style from the previous ones taken. I can say with absolute certainty that the Study Guide does not cover everything in the Exam. There was a snippet about a particular country whose name does not show up at all in the guide itself, as an example. In addition, the questions are not linear, but rather, all over the place with wording different enough to throw me off from what I read in the PDFs. I was able to get most of the Essay questions, but I do not feel good about this exam. I felt I studied the PDF in depth and well, at that, but the exam knocked me down a bunch of pegs. Whether the peg I stopped at is before or after the 70 mark, time will tell. Time has told that I stopped on peg #77; somehow passed, not sure how, but again, no complaints! Multiple Choice: 41/60 Essay: 36/40 The score accurately reflects how I felt about the test. Essay was very doable, but the Multiple Choice threw me for a loop. There are double-whammy questions that are based on the exact same concept, which means if you are not familiar with it you can lose multiple points for the same 'thing'. But a 69 is brutal) DAVAR June - Unlimited exams $99 - nnahh - 06-20-2017 dfrecore Wrote:These were already known, and posted on their website. Ok gotcha. I had a similar experience with a study guide not covering enough for the exam when others reviewed that it would. It seems like a luck of the draw situation I guess. Hate hearing you missed by such a small margin. DAVAR June - Unlimited exams $99 - icampy - 06-20-2017 Well that's a bummer, I might skip that one and do it on study.com. Maybe accounting 101 is better. Any more feedback on that one? DAVAR June - Unlimited exams $99 - Ideas - 06-20-2017 I took International Management this morning and Info Literacy yesterday. Int'l was harder than I expected it to be. I had studied the slides very carefully, and knew the material. I also read portions in the textbook, when the slides weren't that clear. Sometimes the slides just didn't make much sense if you didn't have a little more info. A person could try to get by without understanding what the abbreviations or phrases meant, but I wanted to have more knowledge in case it was an essay question. I used 1 edition older than the suggested textbook. There were plenty of questions I wasn't well-prepared for. Three essay questions seemed to be very different from what I had studied, and at least 3-4 multiple-choice questions. Then there was another essay that was sort of related, but not directly what I had studied. I feel this exam was much harder than the others I have taken so far, but I feel I will still pass by a good margin. |
