I think I read that a graphing calculator was required for one course, but I'm not sure. It would probably be obvious which one that was. The rest just need a regular calculator.

Took two exams last night and finished around 4am. Seems the only time I can focus on exams is crazy late at night. Took ACC 301 and I feel like I did horribly. I just cannot for the life of me grasp it, and I had taken and failed it twice from Study.com. I passed Managerial Accounting with no problem beforehand but Intro to Accounting is just really not coming easily to me. Also took Management Informations Systems ans despite there being a lot of info to retain I feel like I did really well and I'm confident I got a passing score on it. Hoping Davar will come through with my grades sometime today.

I hope you somehow passed. I would think that SL would be much easier to pass than Davar, for a lot of the courses. I am realizing that for the amount of time I'm spending preparing, I could probably do the SL course and have a no-pressure exam instead of this one with essay questions. I do like the practice I'm getting, but I really feel like I'm working harder than I could (if I did the courses with only multiple-choice exams, especially ones where I only need a 60% score or less).
I will be taking the Fin Accounting exam at Davar in a couple hours. At first glance, I thought the course material would be pretty easy for me, as I have already done some prep for my original plan of taking the CLEP. As I went over it, I am realizing there's plenty to know. For me, it's mostly since there will be essay questions.
I have been studying for Earth Science and plan to take that today as well. I've been watching the YouTube videos that are linked, and it's taking so much time. But the videos really teach a lot, and it's on material that's not in the PDF. Although I haven't taken it yet, I am sure it will be the hardest exam, partly because eriehiker said that.

Failed ACC 301 by 2 points.... So frustrated. This is my third attempt and I'm like just so over it. Looks like I'm gonna be trying Saylors Accounting course. I have a week left until July 1st deadline for graduation and this Accounting course is stressing me out to the point where I'm sick of looking at anything to do with Accounting.

Do you know what the ACC 301 will come in ad? Says Intro but also say Upper Level this is just confusing. Did you check with TESU to see how this would come in? From the description it sounds like Financial Accounting ACC-101

I don't want to trouble you by asking this, is accounting the only course you need?
Can't you take something else as you're going for GM AOS? Like another MAN or MAR/FIN?
If you must take accounting, there's two courses that will fit in the GM AOS at SL.

I already completed all my requirements for my AOS, but ACC 101 and ACC 102 are both courses that I have to take to fulfill the professional business requirements from what I understand.
I just don't want to pay that much for SL when I'm pretty much finished, it would be cost effective if I needed more courses from SL, but my last two I need are ACC 101 and I'm taking an easy one from Saylor to finish off gen ed. I've been avoiding this accounting course so hard after bombig it on study.com so many times...

For ACC 101 and 102 from SL, you'll pay around $190 (with coupon codes. There's a $50/off floating around somewhere). I don't want to tell you what to do, but $32/credit really isn't that bad. If you manage to pull another code somewhere, it will be even cheaper.

Have you tried watching videos on YouTube? It seems like you are mixing up some concepts because that's easy to do. I think that those animated videos can really break down concepts and make it them understandable. I felt Davar's slides are really not good to learn from, in this case, for some of the concepts. They are good for a refresher but not for learning.
I just finished the exam and there were definitely some questions which weren't addressed by the slides. Overall, it was easier than I expected in some ways, but harder too. However, the way it was harder was limited to a few questions. It seemed like the other Davar exams I've taken.
