RE: My WGU BS-NOS Accountability - theonlyski - 06-02-2018

C175 (Data Management-Foundations) for 3CU is in the blue, glad that is over with.

The two tasks for C768 were submitted yesterday morning, currently numbers 52 and 53 in taskstream, so hopefully, those get graded tomorrow morning and I'm crossing my fingers for no revisions, but I wouldn't be surprised since the second task is a bit of a difficult one.

RE: My WGU BS-NOS Accountability - theonlyski - 06-04-2018

Both tasks for C768 passed late last night, so Technical Communication is in the blue as well.

Now I have Project+, ITIL Foundations, and Linux Essentials certs to take to finish out my term plan (and I am only on day 4 of the 6-month term). If I can keep the momentum, I should be able to finish relatively quickly.

RE: My WGU BS-NOS Accountability - theonlyski - 06-10-2018

I took and passed (barely) the ITIL Foundations test this evening, awaiting final verification from Axelos/PeopleCert which they say takes two business days but I don't expect any issues and I am going to count it as C846 is in the blue for another 4CU. I did NOT enjoy this as it's a mile wide and 20 feet deep and honestly, just a pain to sit through. To say that I am glad it's over would be the understatement of the week.

That brings me to 10CUs earned in 10 days of my term. 22CUs remain, now I get to decide between Linux LPIC and Project+ next, and I'll aim to get one done this week but we shall see.

In other news, I've been taking and passing FAA checkrides lately so my mind has been split pretty heavily between WGU (mostly on the weekends) and work for the last couple weeks. Now that I've gotten through the checkrides, I can focus more on teaching the students and knocking out my courses.

I feel like I slacked off for a while, though it looks like only about a week (sure felt longer).

Anyways, took and passed Project+ this morning. Another 4 CUs in the books.

LPI Linux Essentials is up next. Then I can start eating into the 4 courses currently set for my last term. Grinding along!

Couldn't schedule any cert exams this week between my work schedule and the super low number of available slots at the testing centers. I took and passed C483 (Principles of Management) this morning for another 4 CUs.

This brings me to 109/123

LPI Linux, CCDA, CompTIA Cloud Essentials and Capstone remaining!

Linux Foundations (C851) is in the blue, for another 3CU.

Not sure which is next between the CCDA and Cloud Essentials, but those are on the short list (along with the capstone). 112/123 complete!

How was it? How long did it take?

It was stupid easy. I have been working on personal Linux servers for a few years and I could've probably passed it cold. I got 800/800 in about 10 mins.

RE: My WGU BS-NOS Accountability - theonlyski - 08-27-2018

Feels like an eternity since I've been able to update this (almost 6 weeks, sheesh, what have I been doing??).

Took and passed the CompTIA Cloud Essentials cert today with an 839/900 (needed 720). Another 3CU's in the bag. 115/123 completed!

Also have been working on my capstone, the bulk of which is sitting in queue (position 5, not that I'm watching it). All I have left (provided the task 2 passes) is the last capstone task and CCDA exam, so I guess I should study for that or something.

Moving along!

Almost there! Great work
