I don't understand your question. ACE is an accredited education provider, but every school has different policies so while credits can be transferable to some schools, it may not be to all.

The certificate itself IS a higher education product. I don't know if ACE is regionally or nationally accredited. I know that it is accredited, but I didn't bother to look up in which way because it's not relevant to me as I'm already in a graduate program. Going to their about us page and checking their accreditation may benefit you.

I have no idea what a post nominal is.

Just looked up the terminology for post nominal- the answer is no. I know of very few certificate programs that allow for individuals to add abbreviations after their name. I'm not sure why you'd expect that from a Certificate in Telehealth. Secondly, they are accredited by the Higher Learning Commission which is a regional accreditor, but all of this information is easily found online. If you want post nominals, do a specialized Masters or Doctorate for those.

So far there is a weekly discussion assignment, 5 question quiz, and weekly application assignment, which is a 3-4 page essay or project. For week 2, the assignment is to create an Infographic, but for week 1 it was a 3-4 page paper in APA format. There is a final exam that is 50 questions multiple choice.  I'm managing. However, keep in mind, I'm not normal. I work full-time and am in 5 varying programs at the same time. I dedicate every free moment to my studies. I wouldn't recommend my study schedule to my worst enemy, and I regularly have to consider how to get the assignments in and plan months in advance.

That all being said-

If you only are working on one degree program and working full-time, the certificate in Telehealth is doable. The weekly paper is the hardest part of the course- the first paper took me two hours to write. If you can devote 2-4 hours a week to the certificate exclusively, you will succeed. Also, course weeks last 5 weeks at a time, so you're really only investing 15 weeks, which is the same amount roughly, as a traditional semester. If anyone has further questions, let me know.
Thank you for this information!

I know I’ve asked already and have been answered (thank you), does successful completion of this course allow for the use of post nominals? (This is important for my career progression)

ACE (American College of Education) is an RA school; that being said, I have no idea what your question means (does "this course allows access to higher education?").

I received an email from ACE announcing that the February 20th term will be the last one where the certificate will be offered for free.

Get it now, if you can!

So far so good, ya'll! The workload is doable.

There's a $50 application fee and a $100 program conferral fee.

Has there been anything like this since?

Would be keen to do something like this.

Also, how do courses at ACE work? Are they self-paced or semester schedule based?

They're continuing the tuition-free offer for the January 9 semester. The courses are synchronous, require message board posts and assignments each week, and each course has a 20-question multiple choice final exam that must be completed in a single 3-hour sitting.

The curriculum looks great, but the timing is absolutely awful for me. It can't be offered at $150 forever, and I can't justify paying ~$3k for it later.  Looks like this will be the one that got away.

Did you complete this course?

Do you know if it still exists, or if there are any courses like this of that price tag?

Basically, I clicked on the link, it no longer points to that certificate... No other certificate programs from them at a similar cost.

I clicked the link too.

Interested to see that it doesn’t seem to be offered anymore?

Any graduate certificates that you know of (cheap/free) in any subject? I’ve had a look online, but cannot find anything.

No, I never enrolled and this program doesn't exist anymore. On the low end, it's possible to find other grad certificates that cost around $3k. You'd have to find a school that offers 9-credit certificates and charges ~$300  per graduate credit. There aren't that many, but I've seen them. I don't know any offhand, it would take some Googling.

There is the ASU/Thunderbird certificate that has been discussed at length on this board that's around $3k. That's if there isn't yet another hidden fee to be discovered before anyone is able to get one actually conferred.
