No time for the textbook I am taking this tonight;( that is a good idea identifying essay topics I have been trying to use the ones from the quizzes but I swear they aren't the same.

I feel burnt out on history/government already. However, switching back to Meteorology or Earth Science, or to another subject, will probably not help. In the past when I switched, I fall behind in my overall Davar plan. If I take the American Government exam, tomorrow should be easier for me.

Good luck!

I can say with absolute certainty that the Study Guide does not cover everything in the Exam. There was a snippet about a particular country whose name does not show up at all in the guide itself, as an example. In addition, the questions are not linear, but rather, all over the place with wording different enough to throw me off from what I read in the PDFs.

Hi, did the quizzes contain the information that the slides were lacking? At least, pertaining to what was on the exam? I'm working 80+ hours this week so I only have time to study for one more exam, and finance is one that I need.

Does anyone know which time zone Davar is working off of? When is it considered July 1st?

icampy, I sincerely regret I've lost most memory of the examination since I had taken it. I did score a 77% on the actual examination despite my negative outlook, but I am unable to state how much of it was based on actual knowledge and how much was based on dumb luck. I understand this comment isn't overly helpful, but I do regret my brain decided to splatter the exam information all over the wall after I finished it. Sad

I managed to get through the American Gov't exam, barely. I don't feel very well, but I did it, rather than wait and fall behind. My biggest advice would be to not panic when you see the essay questions. At first glance, some of them seem pretty hard because of how they word it. In my opinion, it takes a minute before you realize that what you studied can mostly fit the questions. Although, I did have a few that weren't really in the slides, but I felt they were easy enough to write something decent for. I am curious to see how I score on those essays, because I am a lot less sure. I was glad that strawberryfuzz said they thought they would do badly, but scored highly. This is another reason why I feel it's important not to panic for this exam's essays. Overall I feel that I over-studied because of what others said about this exam, but it was what I needed to feel confident enough, and I learned more this way. For this exam, I read some of the textbook and watched some videos online. I do not think it was totally necessary, but it was good to have the extra insurance that I would pass. It really does depend on your previous knowledge.

This happens to me, because I'm very tired after the exam, and just don't bother to retain the information much Sad

@ideas, I'm planning on taking this test tomorrow. Any last minute advice on what or how I should study? Thanks.
