Quote:Beginning July 1st, approved online self-paced courses from Straighterline, Sophia, Study.com, Saylor and CSM Learn will need to be completed at the 80% score threshold in order to be transferable to Charter Oak.

Checking something: does that mean those transcripts will have to be sent from the organization instead of Credly?  Is that a change for COSC and/or update for wiki info?

Or is an option to show the score on credly?

Yes, the transcript must come directly from the source, not from Credly. My understanding is that COSC has already been requiring this for some time.

No, Credly doesn't have the scores, only the Pass.

This is an interesting concept. My strategy is to go fast, but I do spend a little extra time for quality, mostly to ensure that I have a margin of error as I progress through the course. However, I generally do well enough that by the time I'm nearing the end, there's no real way to decrease my final score, short of intentionally doing a poor job / answering questions wrong. Out of 26 courses, 24 are 90% or higher, and the other two are 87 and 89. That being said, I've always been very bad at producing "good enough" work, so it's possible that I could go even faster than I already do.

Finally, a little bit of good news - all three of my UL courses transferred! I may be the final COSC student to squeak through the closing door, but I'm grateful to have made it.
