What was the USA Equivalency ? Looks like diploma issuance won't begin until at least April 2026. See attached. RE: ENEB New Master Thread - Voldigoad - 11-18-2025 Anyone else who took the Uniseb convalidation finished the program and now received a newsletter with a 40% discount on diplomas/university certificate? This makes it look like we need to pay again, when it should have been included with what we ordered. The UNISEB deal included digital diplomas, not physical diplomas. That said, I'm not sure whether this "ISEB Essentials" discount extends to UNISEB physical diplomas. I've emailed them to ask. RE: ENEB New Master Thread - Sunny21 - 11-19-2025 It does seem a bit worthless to me as according to the wiki big countries like UK and Ireland won't even evaluate ENEB as worth anything. Someone got 20 credits towards a TESU degree but that was a few years ago. Now evaluators in the US don't want to touch it. The UI1 certificate can get evaluated as a graduate certificate or a bachelors degree in the US. RE: ENEB New Master Thread - wow - 11-20-2025 Wild question here: Apart from chasing credentials, do you all see value in the ENEB program itself? Double Masters go on sale tomorrow for $229 and single masters next week as part of their Black Friday month, and I'd be interested in their Marketing masters if it offers more (amount or quality) in learning content than what I can get for cheaper/free elsewhere. Also curious about the Big Data and Business Intelligence masters--to what extent are skills in python, SQL, R etc taught? Or is it more of getting an overview of what they are and how they are used? (My background is one intro course in computer programming from ASU Universal Learner.) RE: ENEB New Master Thread - Kalas - 11-20-2025 ENEB offers good value for money if your plan is to get the credential evaluated and use it toward something that will give you value. If your goal is strictly to learn the information you would be better off googling the name of the class along with best textbook and reading one of the recommendation you find. Then buy the book or head over to Library Genesis/Anna's Archive. That is the method I am using to teach myself the equivalent of math and physics bachelor's degrees. I used classes offered by Cornell College and Miami University as the basis for finding books to read as both schools have a reputation for providing a high-quality education, which is just about the only thing that doesn't actually count in any of the major university rankings. I did the Big Data and BI degree at ENEB in 2023 and I'm doing the Unimarconi degree now. The classes between the two may or may not be different today, but the Unimarconi courses seem to be better than the ENEB courses. Coming from someone with a Windows/systems admin background, I found the technical end of the material to be very lacking in the ENEB material. It was more geared toward making sure you understood things IT guys would say in a meeting than it was a technical degree. The two books I've read so far in the Unimarconi version have more technical information, but I still wouldn't call it a tech degree. There is one book of labs to give hands on experience. It won't teach you how to become a master of Microsoft Power BI, but gives you context to see why knowing it would be beneficial. You should know which technical skills you need to/want to learn from the Unimarconi books. I haven't looked at all of the projects yet, but I'm pretty sure you could do them all with little/no IT-level technical knowledge as long as you understand the general concepts involved. You're asked to write an essay on how you would do something, not do it in a VM. Sure anything can happen in the future, but that doesnt appear likely at the moment. Multiple independent evaluators have their own stance on Propio degrees being equivalent to graduate education or bachelors degrees. It would take a large systematic change to alter that. The program also doesnt cost $1,000 if you get it on sale, and one can easily finish in under a year. |
