Analyzing and Interpreting Literature - DHammond - 01-09-2007

Check! Whoohoo again! I got a wild hair tonight (about 4:30pm) and decided to go take the 6 hour Literature CLEP, without studying. I read all the stuff here on the forum, and thought I could pull it off, having taken two reasonably hard Lit. Classes at CTC and KSU. So I signed in at 7:20pm, and signed out at 8:20pm with 6 more Semester Hours!!!!

I only passed with a 56, but that was six more than I actually needed, and I'm just thankful for the credit. The test was not difficult, and I had no questions on anything but analyzing and interpreting different pieces of literature - no definitions, no terms, just poems, plays, stories, exerpts etc., then a q like: what did the word "loom" mean in line 5, or who was the author speaking to when he said, "the rock" in line 16.

If you're a slow reader I can see how the time could crunch you a little, but I managed to cram the whole thing down in 52 minutes.

Definetly plan on taking this CLEP if it will fit into your degree plan - I'd say it's easier than some average 3 SH tests.

Ooops, here's my updated signature - and somebody responded to my other thread and asked us to reply after we take Criminal Justice. We'll be taking CJ this Thursday afternoon, then my girlfriend will be done, and we'll report back here. After CJ, I'm also taking Intro to Law Enforcement, so I'll pass along any info on that one too.
