Anyone that has used Alek, mainly for college algebra. How long did it take you to complete the course?

College Algebra w/ Trig took me 1 day to complete. I had recently finished high school pre-calculus and still has math fresh in my mind, however. And it was one of the more grueling days of my life.

On the other hand it took me a few weeks of constant work. It really depends on how you learn and how much you know, but I think you'll find it's less time than taking an actual class.

:iagree: Definitely faster.

I didn't do college algebra, but I did Intro to Stats and Intermediate Algebra and they took me 40 hours and 1 hour respectively. I was fresh out of high school too. So I'm sure that helped.

just curious. I am at 20% with 8 hours. I was always in honors math however that was 15 years ago.

Confusedmilelol: I took Beginning Algebra in February when I was snowed in for days at a time-laid off from work I was able to spend most of the day on the computer. Went from 17 to 71% in 21 days. I've been mathphobic for 30 years and this was the best money I ever spent. I love Aleks- and never want to see him again!
