Soltran - Math Question - steelers - 01-27-2007 You mentioned that you only studied for 2 weeks for the college math using the following: InstantCert CLEP Official Study Guide 18th Edition Cracking the CLEP 4th edition REA - CLEP General Exams with CD 1) Would you say that all of these resources were necessary to pass (50) or could you eliminate some of them? 2) How deep did you study each one? Soltran - Math Question - steelers - 01-27-2007 Also, regarding Stats, how long did you study out of each of the following resources for Stats?: IC CliffsNotes Statistics (CliffsAP) CliffsNotes Statistics (CliffsQuickReview) I would be happy with a 55! Could IC be enough? My approach was to do as many questions I could that were presented in as many different ways as possible, hence the multiple resources. As you would have seen in my other post, I worked on my strengths and I didn't want to be confused by questions asked in a different manner. For example 2 + 4 or Add 2 and 4 or the sum of 2 and 4 and so on. An over simplification but something that I have found with the CLEP tests is the can ask the same kind of questions in different ways. One thing I didn't mention was in my day, which may have been 25 years ago, I was pretty good at math so I was starting with a reasonable base. As for stats, I mainly used CliffsQuickReview. A very small book that covers the basics well. It is possible that IC would be enough but this is one test that I wouldn't risk using only one resource. It was a test where they did ask similar questions multiple times but in completely different ways. There are other online resources that I didn't get to look at due to the lack of time I had given myself so there may be other options still open to you. I will help where I can, there are some hints I picked up regarding math (some of which also helped with stats) that I will post here later this evening that may provide some assistance.
