TESC eval question - Mian - 05-08-2011 Can any of you tell me what these mean: !! Exception Over in Acctg and Acctg Electives Under in Comp Lit 7 sh req !! Exception Over in Bus electives 4 sh req !! Exception 1 sh over in Nat Science 20 sh req Also, their automatic system seems to have given me more than the 80CC credits they claim to allow (looks like it gave me 94 of them). Is this going to stand when it comes time to apply for graduation or will they say I need more classes because I have too many CC credits? Finally, there doesn't seem to be any indication that it had problems with the age of my credits. I wonder if this means their automated system doesn't check for that or if some of the later credits managed to "demonstrate currency"? This is another thing I wonder about in terms of when it comes time to apply for graduation. Thanks for any insight you might have on this! So I would read that you have fulfilled the Acct requirement and the additional credits should then be placed under business electives or free electives. Possible explanation: One of the CC's you attended could have changed to a 4 year degree granting institution. It happened to my sons. TESC will recognize the current institution status even if it was only a CC when you attended. Yeah I think I've finally figured out what they meant by those exceptions. Hmmmm, I do know that one of the CCs I went to has started granting bachelor degrees in some subjects (not my subjects tho). I guess CCs are allowed to do this now. Still, they haven't officially changed to a university so I don't know. I guess I'll have to ask TESC about that directly. I don't want to get near the end and be told I need to hurry up and make up 14 credits. TESC eval question - Mian - 05-08-2011 Also, if anyone knows ... If you're doing a dual major do they ever put the two evaluations together? They've done them separately and it's hard to figure things out from that... |
