I would like to know as well, as I am contemplating taking this exam. Those 6 credits are mighty inticing; I am in the excelsior program as well. Big Grin

I heard its either you know it or you don't. just go with your gut feeling. I think Shoto also said the REA book is awesome. Good Luck!

There is no essay on this exam.

The REA book will teach you "how" to work the exam.

Use the "SEARCH" feature to look for other A&I Lit threads, they're packed with great info!

Good Luck!!

I took this exam cold with zero knowledge of the subject ..... I managed to squeak by with a 52! Luck was the only reason I passed this exam! I would not recommend taking this test cold!

Wow, congratulations! Hey, a pass is a pass, and that's 6 nice new credits you got! So if I studied REA and some other materials suggested for about a month, would my chances be pretty good that I would pass? I am looking to take this one after the Humanities exam.

All I did for this test is I took the three practice exams in the REA book and the practice exam in the Official CLEP Guide. I think you'll do just fine. I am not a good test taker, it was my first test ever and I did okay. If you get 60% on the official practice test then I say go for it!

Very easy in my opinion (as you can see from my signature it isn't very credible! Smile) for 6 credits. Good luck!
