American Literature CLEP - nm279738 - 03-09-2007 IC does not have study questions for American Literature or even English Literature. Has anyone taken this test and if so what did you use as a study guide? Nichole Passed first Dantes on 03/01/07 BUS Law American Literature CLEP - Old Rusty Pipe - 03-09-2007 I haven't taken this exam, but I have heard others recommend both Wikipedia and the Complete Idiot's Guide to American Literature. Petersons.com does have practice tests on it however. American Literature CLEP - mattie - 03-10-2007 I took American Literature, and used The Complete Idiots guide to american Literature.. It was very good, and very interesting to read. For the English lit. there are fewer resources. When I took it Petersons did not have a practice test. I just used one of my highschool english lit books. College Board has a book with practice tests for each of the 34 Cleps. That has been a big help. Also, I think I used the Comex Humanities book and studied the english lit section. The Princeton Review has a Humanities section as well that was very helpful. If you're thinking about following these two tests up with humanities.. that would be a great thing to invest in Oh, and I used sparknotes.com. They have tons of info on both literatures. Good luck!!!! Study hard.
