Reporting Spam Posts - sgloer - 07-02-2011
Hey Guys--
If someone posts Spam on the board (watch for posts that don't make 100% sense and have a link in the body or in their signature), feel free to report it to the moderators as spam. It's very easy--in the upper right-hand corner of the post, there's a little icon that looks like a red triangle with an exclamation mark inside. Just click that and it'll let you report the post.
We try to keep an eye out for spam but sometimes the more crafty ones slip through the cracks...

I have tried the spam button several times and it never seems to work for me. Am I supposed to add a link to the questionable post in the message box? (I thought that was automatically sent, but maybe it isn't.)
Yes, the moderator does a great job of keeping almost all of the spam off of the forum.

I would suggest sending me a "S"PM - Spam/PM with a link to the suspected spam for obliteration! :reddevil:

Well, I won't be much help. I couldn't figure out where red triangle was. In addtion, when things don't make sense to me, I figure it's me being stupid, and not the writer being confusing!
