Has anyone taken Game Institute's Discrete Mathematics?
Is it doable? Do we have to refer any books?
How is their final exam?
Is there any alternative to Game institute?

Texas State U - San Marcos has a course in Discrete Math - $573
That's about as cheap as I've found for a course prior to your post on the Game Institute.

I did my DM course at UMUC as a regular online class. Wasn't too hard.

I took discrete math at my local cc. While the material isn't exceptionally difficult there is a good deal of information to take in particularly if you don't have a math background. Also the proofs can be a little tedious even with a math background. If you put in the time and the work I believe you will have no problem with the class regardless of what institution you choose. Just be prepared to "put in work" as we say around my way.

Oh, and I forgot to say I was looking at using Game Institute to do the EC BS in IT focus on game development... but the GI Bill will NOT cover the courses at GI

I might recommend a community college for this because I tried to teach myself discrete math 3 years ago when I decided I should go to FSU online for computer science.
Needless to say, I freaked out when I realized how much content there was and that it was very difficult to learn proofs on my own.
During those two weeks of intense self study, I did learn a lot of the basics which is helping me immensely in my computer architecture course.
