I passed DSST MIS with a 52 yesterday.
I used IS and the Peterson's Site to study. Also the other posts on here I used as a referance and looked things up on the net.
The test was odd. The questions are even a bit old school.
One question was:
What is a program that is Free but Ethically askes you to pay for it after you try it?
The answer is Shareware.
I have no clue why they would ask this on a MIS test. This is more IT related. But oh well, I passed.

It was a bizarre test. I studied harder for that than most of the others I took and scored lower. Many of the questions seemed purposelessly (is that a word???) obtuse--particularly the "Which of the following statements are true" questions. Of course, you'll find plenty of posters here who scored higher than both of us who'll say, "If you know anything about computers, you'll be fine" or "IC is all you need for this one." I never know if that means they had a different exam or many lucky guesses or I'm just brain-dead on this topic--but I did fine on the other computer related exams so go figure. Congratulations.
