Clep Exams - daxurbina - 12-07-2011

Hi People,

I am new and going to start stuying for my clep exams. It is a long road but willing to do as quick as possible. I need to finish a BS in 6 month tops, dont know if its possible or not. I am super scared of the clep and how if you fail one then you cant take this for about 6 months. Is there another wat to make sure you will pass the clep? Is their a online college or insitution that can offer the courses, tests and be able to accelerate the classes? I went into ACE, Straighterline and they told me to call the university or college to see if they accepted their credits, but they dont and they are part of their network...Sad

Any other suggestion? Maybe sending the credits to Phoenix University and then transfering them to another more local university?

help, need something that can guarantee I will pass the exams...
This is an investment from my savings and no money is coming in, so please help.

thanks,

If you read the REA book for each CLEP exam cover to cover and take all 3 practice tests and then study the answers you get wrong, you will most likely pass. A lot of people don't have the patience to read a 180 page or so book but this is required in order to get a good understanding of the content. These are college courses here so take it seriously.
If you don't know what a REA book is, go to amazon.com and type in REA CLEP and you will find them.

Almost every school accepts CLEP credits but not that many accept ACE. Thomas Edison does, however as well as Exelsior and Charter Oak.
When you take the tests, the College Board will hold the credits for you and you can have them transferred to the school of your choice when you are ready.
Pick a school now to send them to when taking the test but don't sweat it if you pick a new school.

If you have 6 months to graduate then you need get started ASAP. Figure out which of the next 3 tests you need to take and stop visiting the site until you pass atleast 2 CLEPs. People often waste time on this site instead of studying. Don't let that happen to you.

Good luck.
