Haven't studied any of the material, but I have a background in computer technologies, not so much on the info systems part of it. Think I should just go and take it if I scored a 65 on a peterson practice test cold? I have plenty of other exams to study for, wouldn't want to waste time studying for one I don't need to, obviously don't want to fail either.

I got a 75 on that test and I ended up killing the DSST. I'd take another practice test though just to be safe, but it's worth nothing that the next two are way harder. I only got a 59 on each.
I guess you might be fine as is. Its not a hard test.

Thanks for the heads up, took the 2nd test got a 52. A pass is a pass, but that's cutting it close. I'll just study what I got wrong on both, maybe take the 3rd one, then take the test tomorrow.

Not that I want to deter you from doing further study, its just that those Petersons are rough. You should check out the official DSST practice test at getcollegecredit.com. They're free in December with the promotional code REFER2011. I got a 40/50 on that one and it's much closer in difficulty to the actual exam. If you do well on that, then you should know that you're good to go.

Just took it, got a 427. Probably would have done better if I went over the questions I marked for review, but I felt confident enough. Finished in 22 minutes.

Thanks, this is the last one I'll be taking without flash card/textbook prep. The only reason I dared was my background in computers and studying for the Info Systems CLEP a year ago. Now I need to do World Religions, Ethics in America, Business Ethics, and Criminal Justice for UL credit at EC and I'm done testing.
