It was a good experience for us. anyone use these online college book rental sites? - burbuja0512 - 01-18-2012 Ohhhh... I would really like a rental site for my Kindle. They send the actual textbook for the semester then you just return it when the semester is over or earlier. The cost is usually about half or less the cost of purchasing the textbook. anyone use these online college book rental sites? - hkhart - 01-19-2012 I used coursesmart for one of my classes this term. You can log in from any computer but they also have apps - I used the app on my tablet - however I found it was more productive to just read from computer. You can highlight and add notes (did not have that ability within app) as well as download or what they refer to as "check out" parts of the textbook for use when not connected to internet. I did not use that feature. In addition, they allow some printing of the book as well. Cost was reasonable - much cheaper than buying, comparable to renting. |
