Fundamentals of nursing ECE? - Johanna - 04-23-2007 Has anyone taken this ECE exam? It looks very easy and could fill 8 applied professional credits for my BA. Is it as easy as it sounds? I am not a nurse but I did raise a family with lots of medical issues, ![]() Fundamentals of nursing ECE? - beckysharp - 04-24-2007 You might try the Mental Health Nursing exam. It's also 8 credits and very doable especially if you've taken Abnormal and basic Psychology. Fundamentals of nursing ECE? - Johanna - 05-28-2007 I took this exam last Monday evening after very brief review (bought books cheaply through ebay) and I would say those are 8 easy credits to earn. I had flown to Orlando that morning (meetings there all week), had a splitting headache and still managed to get through the (3 hour) exam in about 90 minutes. Especially if you have raised a family and possess a good bit of common sense this is a really easy exam if you need some extra credits. I am not a nurse nor am I associated with the health care field, but it was worth a try to me and it worked! ;-) They count as applied professional. Fundamentals of nursing ECE? - Katterina - 05-29-2007 Wow, 8 credits and upper level ones to boot! Congrats! I think IC would have even more income from nursing students if the nursing exams were added in the future. I know a few people at work that would love to do their nursing degrees online. Heck, even I'd go back to normal college to become an RN if I could test out of some of it! I loved taking anatomy and medical terminology. ![]() Fundamentals of nursing ECE? - Johanna - 05-29-2007 Well, those are not upper level credits (the psych nursing exam would be) but still, at $220 for 8 credits it's also pretty economical. |
