I completed this course today with a 92% and must say that it was an easy 3 credits. I couldn't take the DSST exam mainly because I didn't have the time to study as I thought I might need to, so SL was the route I chose to finish this. I spent a little more than what the DSST exam costs, $80+$20 proctor fee compared to $10 book+$99 SL monthly fee+$39 SL class fee, but I also didn't have to spend any time studying. I spent a whole day on this course and completed all 6 exams without ever reading the book or really using the other materials. Since I have a background in business and mainly just need the 3 credits to satisfy TESC BSBA requirements, I'm not disappointed in the quality as I would have been if I was a complete novice to the subject. The book itself is essential to complete the course, you'll use the glossary and index frequently. It's also not a bad book from what I could tell, a pretty good... well, introduction to business. If you're worried about the DSST exam or don't have time to study for it, I highly recommend taking the SL course. However, if you have no background in business and want to learn the material for future use then study for the DSST exam or take the course through KCTCS - or even at a much slower pace through SL I suppose.
I swear I'm finishing SL Economics 1 next. I couldn't help being distracted by what appeared to be an easy 3 credits - which I was right about!

If anyone needs the textbook for this course, I'm selling it for a total of $5.00 - that's it! That should be cheaper than anywhere else you can find it (if you do find it cheaper, buy it there of course!). This price covers the cost of the packing envelope and postage by USPS Media Mail, so if I make anything it will be pennies. This is a way to give something back to the folks at IC Forum and help out somebody who needs to take this course. From what I can tell you could also use this book as a study aid in prepping for the DSST Introduction to Business exam if you prefer to do that instead. A few caveats:
1. Mailing by USPS Media Mail in Continental United States only.
2. Book is used and in acceptable condition - I make no binding guarantees though.

IMHO, the Intro to Business DSST doesn't really require study for most people, especially if you have a business background- I passed it easily my first year in the military with no professional background.

They're all kind of blending in, but I think it was 40 on the exams and 60 on the midterm/final.

I was able to go from 1 test to the next without study and finished in 1 day. If you have taken Accounting 1 & 2, Micro, Macro, and Business Law you will have no issues. I finished with a 93% and never used the book! The quizzes are 25 questions each and mid-term/final is 50 each.
