WGU Tuition Discount - jtalama - 06-22-2012 For those interested, you can get a 5% tuition discount on your first year at WGU by signing up to be a National Education Alliance member. I signed up for free and get emails every so often. Seems legit. It isn't much of a discount but it's something! I know people that fill out forms and write long essays in the hope of scoring that kind of cash as a scholarship. Nice find! DSST/Prometric sent me an e-mail with the offer because I had recently taken the Intro. World Religions test. So all DSST takers, if interested, check your inbox for an e-mail. They do other discounts as well. Apparently a lot of them have to do with the health care industry, so if you're interested in that field you may want to sign up as long as it's free. Also, $10 off all future DSSTs, which is why I signed up.

As one who actually completed the registration process, no request was made for a credit card, debt card, or bank account number. WGU Tuition Discount - jtalama - 06-25-2012 Same here. Never got prompted for a credit card either. WGU Tuition Discount - Tedium - 06-25-2012 I wasn't asked for a credit card either. My question is whether this free membership is only good for a year. Since their normal memberships are a year long, that's what I'm thinking. But usually you still need to give your credit card. Amazon Prime Student or Netflix come to mind. I don't know. Maybe when I wake up from my nap I will e-mail them. WGU Tuition Discount - SDO - 06-25-2012 If you go to http://www.nationaleducationalliance.com/Counseling-Center/NEACCandiSS.aspx there is a discount code that makes the membership free. After getting the free membership, you can get your code for $10 discounts on every DSST test (presumably for the next year, since they are generally one year memberships). WGU Tuition Discount - gmagerr - 06-25-2012 Thanks I needed the code, just joined did not get the CC prompt WGU Tuition Discount - SDO - 06-25-2012 gmagerr Wrote:Thanks I needed the code You're welcome |
