Question regarding cleps - ShotokaiNinja - 12-29-2012 Hi everyone, so I have a problem here. I go to a college and I currently have 24 credits atm. I am also new to CLEPS. I am trying to get a internship which requires me to have 30 credits and the deadline for me to gain my sophomore status is Jan 10. I bought the 6 month IC package because I have the feeling that I will be taking CLEPs more in the spring semester. I already began to study for the Principles of Management and I got (43->60->67%) in the Petersons tests after studying. I have began to wonder what other CLEP I should take because if do get 3 from the Management, I still need 3 more. I looked into the Analyzing & Lit. it does give 3 credits, but the last practice I had for that type of subject was a long time ago. Any help is wanted Thanks and happy new years. -Anthony / Shoto Question regarding cleps - sanantone - 12-29-2012 A&I is a 6-credit test, but it also depends on how your school will transcribe it. It doesn't really require any studying. I heard that the Marketing CLEP was easy along with the DSST for Principles of Supervision. There should be overlap between Management and Supervision. If you are comfortable with the Managements CLEP, then Marketing shouldn't be that more difficult. It's actually an easy test with a lot of common sense combined with some business know-how. Question regarding cleps - freddy - 12-30-2012 Analyzing and interpreting literature is a good bet. I passed with a 71 with no studying. I passed microeconomics, macroeconomics, and introductory sociology over the course of 9 days. I study about 14 hours per subject mainly using the IC flashcards. You totally can do it.
Question regarding cleps - Lady Grace of Pemberley - 12-30-2012 If you are able to take DSSTs as well, you may want to consider the Technical Writing DSST or the Environment & Humanity DSST, as well. Both have earned a reputation of being very easy exams. As everyone has said here, Analyzing and Interpreting Literature would also be a good choice (it would earn you 6 credits) -- it's very easy. Good luck on your exams!
