I was used to seeing this table on the VA which website which listed the maximum tuition rate per credit hour they would pay for each state:

It looks like the policy on public school's is still the same, it's just the highest public school in-state student tuition rate. Now it seems like they have a higher cap for private schools. If I remember right, before anything over the max in state tuition rate would either have to be covered by yourself or the Yellow ribbon program, right?
How do graduate degrees work?
I'm thinking about changing up my plan. Originally I was just planning on attending a state university and getting two bachelor's. After only being in school last semester and the beginning of this semester I'm growing tired of classes and professors and hearing professors lecture students about how they shouldn't be on their cell phones during class. If students want to text let them. They are adults and will suffer the consequences in their grades. If it doesn't affect their grades more power to them.
Now I'm seriously considering going the TESC route. Let's assume after this semester I stop going to my current university. I enroll in TESC and a bachelor's through TESC mainly through testing and have 24 months of my post 9/11 gi bill left. Would the gi bill cover the full cost of the tuition for the MBA?
The old way it seems like tuition would be capped at the in-state undergraduate rate. The latest link only says "All Tuition & Fee Payments for an in-State Student" which leads me to believe that they would cover the full tuition cost of an MBA.
What are your thoughts?

I noticed the change also. They call it Post 9/11 2.0. They made several changes. I believe one was the in state tuition. They will pay your in state tuition for a public institution. If you are an out of state student, you are capped at the private school cap, which this year I believe is around $18000 per year. Anything over will have to be covered by yellow ribbon or the student (pell, loans, cash, etc.). They also changed the BAH so online students can also receive it and they receive about $600 per month. To pay for the BAH change, students get BAH payments only while attending class. Students no longer receive payments during break. So it pays to attend a school in your home state.

People need to stay off of their cell phones during class or meetings at work. It is disrespectful and I don't know how it is any different than kids who snuck electronic football games into class back in the 1980s. They had those games taken from them.

Meetings at work is one thing when someone is paying you. If you are the boss who is paying all of the employees salaries and wages are your employees going to tell you to stay off your phone because it's disrepectful?
Students are paying out the ass for their tuition. I think it's more disrespectful for teachers to simply read off the teacher's edition powerpoint slides which come from the book publisher without contributing anythng to the lecture. At that point what "teaching" is really going on. If they want to be on their phones, let them. The teachers feelin disrespected is no reason to ban cell phones. The teachers should take it as feedback that maybe their teaching needs some improvement so they capture more of their students' interest.
Were these college students who had their electronic football games taken from them?

If you are a resident of your state receiving in state tuition, are you capped at the out of state tuition for private schools for degree's with a higher tuition rate such as a master's? Or since you are receiving the in state tuition will they cover the whole cost? I might have to drop my school's VA certifying official an email:

I currently take 6 credits online through TESC and I do not get the full BAH because I am only considered part time. So the amount of BAH is determined by course load. The 600 dollars isnt automatic.

Although I would have to say it is an unwritten rule that I have always followed: Cell phone use in any type of setting involving a meeting, class etc.. where others are attempting to concentrate on the discussion, is absolutely rude. Maybe you don't think its rude to the Instructor or professor, but it definitely is rude to the guy/gal sitting next to you...

What region do you go to school? That might be a significant hit to your BAH dropping the on campus class. Depends on where you live though, for me that would not work, going from $2900 to $600 would be a waste of my gibill. But there is not too many places where BAH is under $1000 or so.

I really don't think it's rude to the person sitting next to me, although I rarely am on my phone during class. By cell phone use I mean browsing the internet on my smart phone, not actively talking on the phone. Me browsing my phone with all the sounds turned off is about as distracting as me taking notes and turning pages in my notebook.
If they find it distracting because they are trying to see what I'm doing on my phone, then that is more of a personal problem of theirs than it is mine because they can actively choose what seat they sit in and they can choose to focus on the professor and not me.

Online classes get a different rate over B&M classes. Online classes cap out at $671 no matter where you are taking your classes at.
