Came across this article just the other day, from Time Magazine. A really long read but an eye-opening, shocking one. Instead of arguing over who should pay for health care, we should be analyzing why costs are so high in the first place, essentially the highest in the world. Without going too far into it, Steven Brill explains it as this strange kind of capitalism, where the buyer is powerless.
