Allowed Tools for Principles of Accounting - mstcrow5429 - 05-23-2007 Is there a list of allowable calculators to use on the Principles of Accounting exam? I need to take this prior to its discontinuation, as I've taken Financial, but not Managerial, Accounting, and can only pick up the 3 credits by taking this exam, not the sucessor Financial Accounting Exam. I'm basically looking for an excuse to either get a HP 12C (or 12C Platinum), or powerOne Finance for my Palm Vx, although I imagine due to archaic testing rules, PDAs, even used as calculators, are verboten. Or maybe I'm confused and you don't need a financial calculator for an accounting exam, but there might be other exams that would be good to have one for... Allowed Tools for Principles of Accounting - Old Rusty Pipe - 05-23-2007 There is no list of allowable calculators for the Principles of Accounting CLEP. You aren't allowed to bring one. A good calculator would come in handy for DSST Principles of Finance or for DSST Statistics. Pen and paper was all I was allowed for the Accounting CLEP. |
