I am here looking for help to get 15 credits so that i may enlist into active duty millitary. does anyone have any tips on which tests to take that will help me get those credits fast and which classes would be easiest to understand. also any tips on how to use the instantcert site? please im dying for help i need this major change in my life my family is growing and i need to be the man to take them out of here and provide. thank you to anyone with any info that can help me.

¿ Puedes hablar y escribir español? That could be 12 credits right there IF they accept CLEP and DSST. Other relatively easy tests may be:
DSST Environment & Humanity 3 credits
CLEP Analyzing & Interpreting Literature 6 credits
DSST SUbstance Abuse (or whatever it is called these days) 3 credits
DSST Here's to your Health 3 credits
DSST Intro to Business 3 credits
DSST Principles of Supervision 3 credits

I was wondering, how does 15 credits get you into the military? The only other thing I can think of is as attempt to get you considered as a conditional freshman due to not completing highschool. If this is the case I think you actually need to be enrolled in a B&M school because your recruiter needs to get updates from your advisor and such until you finish the 15 credits. This was the requirement at least back when I was a recruiter in the Navy...

yes i took the spanish clep and only got 6 credits i missed the full 12 by 2 answers i am going back to retake it next month.

i have to earn 15 credits because i have a GED if i had graduated then i wouldnt have this problem. i was told to get 15 credits by my recruiter so that i may join not sure how it works but i passed every other test they gave me and now they gave me another task

Did you discuss with your recruiter on how you are obtaining your credits? Those 15 credits need to be from an B&M school, so you have to clep and get the community college to transcript the credits or actually attend the college for 15 credits. For some reason I seem to remember the candidate having to actually attend the college so you may not even be able to CLEP and transcript the credits. You may want to look into this.

yes i will double check with the recruiter. but after i went to meps and took the tapas and aims test they said all i have to do now is get 15 credits nothing about the hours. my recruiter just said as soon as you get the transcripts we will come back to meps and enlist and get you a ship date

Sounds like a recruiter who is out of waivers. Have you tried another service? Maybe you can use the tesc credit bank or excelsior's. contact one of those schools and see if they will transcript the credits and mail it to your recruiter

My son is going into the Navy and he is doing 45 credits worth of FEMA courses (they're easy and free) and banking the credits at Thomas Edison's Military Credit Bank. The plan is to go into the Navy as an E-3. I can't say for sure this will work, but I don't see why not.
Edit: The cost for active duty military is $260, but if you aren't in the military yet the cost is $514.

No you are not if you took it less than 4 months ago. You have to wait 6 months before taking it again.
