I started here 4.5 years ago with no degree having just lost my job because of no degree. I came here just to finish my AS degree as quickly as possible with no other plans of completing any other degree. With the help, encouragement and support from the wonderful friends on this forum in 4.5 years I have completed my AS degree in 1 month, my BSLS, my BSHS, my MHA and today I just finished my Post Bacc certificate in Health Information Administration. I offiically graduate May 3rd and I can safely say I'm done with all that I set out to accomplish and then some!!! I did all this while working full-time and with kids at home, so if I can do it anyone can do it!!
I haven't been around here much the last two years since I finished my testing, but I just wanted to stop in and thank everyone for your tremendous support because without it I wouldn't have come this far! It is so nice to say that I'm done with school, but I know I will miss it. I will also not know what to do with my extra time, it's probably time to clean out the dust bunnies now and tell the kids they are not really our pets!
Thanks to everyone who helped me along the way - you know who you are!!! I couldn't have done it without you!!!!

Congrats! I appreciate the encouragement. I work full time and have a child with special needs and a needy husband. Sometimes I feel so overwhelmed. I have about 2 years to go before i'm done with my BA. I wish I had done that from the beginning instead of just getting a certificate in my field but at the time, going to school was just not possible. It makes me happy to see other people succeed and gives me hope for the future!

I'm SO proud of you!! And to think, you did all that in the time it typically takes someone who is BRIGHT and DEDICATED to complete a single bachelor's degree!!!! Talk about productivity!!! Revenge is often the best motivation, and you clearly KICKED some serious BUTT! Way to go!!

Thanks everyone! I honestly can't believe how fast the time flew, but I'm so glad to be done. Now I can turn my focus to my son who is getting ready to start his BS degree at AMU, so I will be around here, helping him out. I hope that this great forum continues to help others that come after us to reach their goals. This forum works thanks to those that have gone before giving back, so I plan to keep up that tradition. Thanks again for all the support I have received along the way!
