I have four courses to complete in order to get my BSAST Technical Studies. I will have to take the Current Trends and the Project Management through TESC, both are twelve weeks ugh! So I am looking for suggestions as to what my shortest / easiest path would be for the Chem / Physics requirements. Not too concerned with cost as much as speed.

I'm working a BSAST Respiratory Therapy and have to do CHEM I,II and Physics. For CHEM, I am going to try the CLEP and for the Physics I'll do the independent study at Ohio U (paper course) or the guided study Physic I with TESC. These seem like the fastest way to finish these requirements provided I can learn the material just as quickly.

I'd look at Straighterline and University of Idaho for Physics Physics-Independent Study in Idaho-University of Idaho and Online Physics Course - Learn the Basics of Physical Sciences Through Physics Course Online - StraighterLine
Maybe SL for 1, U of Idaho for 2? The Straighterline is definitely go as fast as you can, the U of I will be a little slower but it is billed as a self paced course...there will be a need to get grades back before progressing, more time for interation with the instructor....not as "clean and quick" as the SL offering, but you would still be in the drivers seat...and it is pretty cheap this way too.
BYU has the Physics and an Elementary Chem class which are also self paced University Online Course Catalog - BYU Independent Study BYU doesn't hold you back, if you can get the work done they will let you progress at your speed (at least it's always been like that).

I got an email response from TESC that stated I could take CHEM 1 and PHY 1, so I was leaning towards SL. I haven't looked at the BYU courses so I'll look into those. I like the self paced because I can go heavy at times and not worry when I don't have much time.

If it's just Chem I, SL has got to be the best way to go if you need a study course and not just a test.
Regarding ISU independent study for Physics: In my thread about Physics someone reported that the US mail, which the professor for Physics required for the dozen or so interchanges really held up fast self pacing. ISU reports somewhere that their independent study courses are guided by retired professors.
The SL Physics description says that calculus is used to solve probelms. If it's just simple 1st derivative using the chain rule, you could easily handle this with your precalculus knowledge and maybe some ALEKS micro lessons. However, if it's differential equations, this is not the course for getting done quick. I can't tell from the SL description. Notice the pass rate is under 30%, so there must be something a little testy here. Has anyone here done SL Physics?
You said speed was the object, not money. So, don't forget the TESC guided study Physics I (only College Algebra pre-req). There is no problem with a fast pace, and TESC mentors, in my opinion, are very helpful and accomodating.

I don't see a guided study course for Physics on the TESC site. I agree that I don't want to get into any heavy Calculus based physics, I'm sure I could get through homework and assignments using multiple internet resources, but the exam is probably what is getting everybody at SL.
I do see that they have a Chemistry course so I will probably go that route. I have a local TESC rep that has a proctor available for exams. Takes that stress out of the way.
My current company will pay for up to 15000 a year for tuition assistance(although I have to claim anything over 5500 as income on my taxes). So money will not be an issue. With enrollment around 3000 and the two courses I have to take from TESC, I still come in well under that.
I appriciate everyones input.
