Personal Education Coaching - DegreeDegree

$299 per 3 credit course. Some different offerings from Straighterline and Propero.
Might be useful for some.

Their twitter account mentions 3 free credits but I see nothing on the website, although I haven't contacted them about it.

I wonder if I can take intro to philosophy and tranfer that to COSC to fulfill my ethics requirement.

You could, since COSC is listed as one of their "partner colleges". However, you might want to consider taking this course through Straighterline to save money:

Introduction to Philosophy Online Course- Online Intro to Philosophy - StraighterLine

If you prefer an exam what about DSST Ethics in America or even DSST Business Ethics? There's also an Excelsior Exam for $95.

I don't know anyone who's actually done it, but the saylor.org business ethics should fulfill the ethics requirement at COSC....I'm not at all sure a philosophy course would work (maybe).

This was my first visit to their site- so it's a secular version of college plus? Am I understanding that correctly?

Ew! But at least it looks like you can purchase courses a la carte. The website is not very clear about anything. I already spotted deceptive advertising when it says that it has 1600 partner colleges. I don't think this is true. It looks like they are just pulling a list of schools that are open to accepting ACE credits. The organization is not-for-profit, so I'm interested in knowing how much they charge for their services. They also claim to offer scholarships.

Interesting...looks like it.

Why shouldn't they? Lots of organizations offer those, including CP.

I don't know why you're asking that question. I was just making an observation.
